Why Green Matters

 In Journal, Social Change, Sustainability

At the start of the month on a snowy day not unlike today, I was lucky enough to attend the Green Awards at the Natural History Museum. The dinner and ceremony took place in my main hall around the iconic giant dinosaur that I remember clearly from visiting as a child. Watch this little video about why the Green Awards matter, with a clip of Sir David Attenborough’s acceptance speech for the Lifetime achievement award.

At the Green Awards with Leonora Oppenheim and John Grant (and the dinosaur)

You can find out more about all the award winners and watch videos from the winners and the judges on their website – www.greenawards.co.uk

In particular I think this one with Niall Dunne, MD of Satchi & Satchi S is interesting looking at the narrative of green and creativity.

And this one with author of the Green Manifesto and Co-Opportunity, John Grant on why Sustainable Marketing is a force for change and why it brings out some of the most creative ideas.
