Amisha on Weardrobe

I love that you can express who you are through what you wear. I love that the colours that you wear change how you feel. I love that through something you do every single day; you can make the world a better place.

Last year I stumbled across Weardrobe, a website where you can upload your outfits and write about them. You can then follow others and be inspired by their style. I realized that this was a great place to showcase my ethical wardrobe, and to show people that there is such a thing as ethical style.

“I have always sought out independent design and individuality through the way that I dress. But in 2007 made a conscious effort to only buy ethical fashion, and mix it up with the older items I already have in my wardrobe. As well as shopping only ethical/eco fashion, I have limited my consuming habits to less than twenty new things a year.  I want to show the world that you can have style without compromise.”

    Hi Amisha,
thanks for the great blog. I just wanted to flag up online ethical fashion site Ethics Girls which, as well as having a very tasty sale on at the moment, is celebrating Co-operatives Fortnight by offering membership of the Ethics Girls co-op for just a fiver – which entitles new members to a share in the co-op’s profits and free returns for life, and also gives them the opportunity to get involved with the co-operative itself, help shape its ethics and contact like-minded people.
