“slow up” = slowing down to up your energy, productivity and purpose

As you know running a business and travelling around the world to network is exhausting and high pressure. This Slow Up is designed to give you time to enjoy Portugal for a few days, connect to other entrepreneurs and make time for yourself so that you can show up to the conference and your business as your best self.

We will spend the first few days getting to know each other, learning meditation and yoga, & sharing wisdom tips for entrepreneurs. This will be followed by two days of co-working so that you can get on top of everything before we travel to web summit.

The retreat includes:

The Details

Wisdom Leadership:

Wisdom Leadership brings together contemporary and ancient wisdom to inspire brilliant entrepreneurs. Most of us operate at less than half of our human potential. These tools and exercises shake us up, to find more depth and skill within ourselves. This includes mindfulness, effective communication, understanding our purpose and stepping more fully into our power.

Arrival & Departure:

Arrive at 4pm on Wednesday 2nd November, and leave at 11am on Monday 7th November to get back to Lisbon and settled before the Web Summit Opening Ceremony at 6.30pm.

Schedule:

Wed – Arrive and Connect

Thurs & Fri – Wisdom Leadership

Sat & Sun – Co-working (with morning yoga, meditation and optional surfing)

Mon – Head to Web Summit

Location:

The Surfcastle is located just 1.5 hrs from Lisbon on the beachfront 5 km from Fort of Peniche and 9 km from Praia da Consolação beach.

Accommodation:

You will be sharing twin or triple rooms in the main house of the Surfcastle and in a small house next door.

The Price:

750 Euros or £650 per person

Booking can be secured by paying full price or a non-refundable £150 deposit. Full balance due by 17th October.

This price includes accommodation, activities and food. Transport from Lisbon not included.

If you wish to enjoy surf school, it is an additional 100 Euros for a daily two hour lesson.

About Your Facilitator:

This retreat are led by Amisha Ghadiali, an award winning social entrepreneur whose career has included demanding roles in the political, sustainability and tech start-up worlds. She combines this knowledge of what is realistic and what makes the difference in a serious working environment, with her deep knowledge of sustainable living, mindfulness and yoga.

Amisha has used these practices in her own life to work with trauma including recovering from being run over by a pick-up truck. She has lived that typical stressful busy london life, and found that bringing a soulful healthy approach to her every day made living in the city much more joyful, rewarding and balanced. This inspires her to teach in London and offer retreats and workshops for a deeper experience.

In particular she likes to support entrepreneurs as she knows too well the pitfalls of burnout, and the pressures of forging a path untravelled.
