New Moon Ritual – Black Moon in Libra

Come and gather for the New Moon this Friday night. This one is a black moon, as it’s the second new moon in one month. In the UK, the exact point of the moon is 1.11 on Saturday morning, so we will gather and set our intentions just before it hits this point. This month has been a very powerful month of transformation, and part of our gathering will be sharing stories.
This is a new moon in Libra which connects “through the realms of ideas, relationships and interactions. Libra’s symbol is the scales of justice. It is a sign that seeks balance, harmony and equality. Libra wants us to remember that connected to one another, we are greater than the institutions that want to keep us separate.”
A new moon is the start of a new cycle, a powerful time to gather in community and set intentions so that we can move into this cycle empowered with grace and clear intentions.
I have been tuning in with the moons cycles for a few years now, after realising that I was being effected by the different energies of the ever changing moon, it became empowering to understand what was happening so I could evolve with the moons cycles rather than against them. We know the moon affects the tides, and we are made mostly of water, so it can impact us more than we realise.
A ritual is coming together in sacred space, so we can really honour the moment that we are in. I love making a fuss, and pulling together different things we can do to fully show up for it. This is my kind of party. I bring together the work of the priestess, with yoga, mediation and intuitive energy healing.
For this new moon, we will share, chant, meditate, set intentions, move our bodies and close with a group healing savasana.
