When was the last time you took the time to go on a half day retreat? No need to go into the countryside, come and do it right here in Deptford! To begin the retreat, we will consider the question, what is home? Is it the place where we live or is it a feeling within ourselves? We will explore our idea of home and the very nature of our identity through simple meditation, gentle movement and journaling with yoga teacher and author of ‘The Future is Beautiful’, Amisha Ghadiali.
We are back at Deptford Lounge with a programme of arts and wellbeing activities for all ages. Our events stimulate the senses and lighten the mind with some of the UK’s most inspiring artists and speakers.
This year we are focusing on ‘home’; what home really means to you, how you might feel more at home in yourself, and how we can take these feelings with us everywhere we go.
On offer will be activities spanning live literature, craft, poetry, visual arts, spoken word, mindfulness meditation, wellbeing events, workshops for families and children and more.
